Association D (the previous name Association DETI) was created in 2017 by Maryna Romanenko and Sebastian Aeschbach with the aim of supporting the younger generations of Ukraine: children and adolescents in their transition to adulthood. Since February 24, 2022, Ukraine and its citizens have been caught up in the turmoil of war. To support the country, Association D has set up a cooperation platform with the Ukrainian diplomatic representation in Switzerland as well as several associations supporting Ukraine, especially with the Ukrainian diaspora in Geneva. Association D is now focusing its efforts on humanitarian aid, in particular the provision of essential medical equipment. The integration of Ukrainians seeking refuge in Switzerland is also one of its priorities.
